If you tuned in yesterday, you probably noticed that we had a few MLS picks in addition to a little bit of preseason NFL coverage. While we will be primarily focused on the National Football League over the next few months, we will continue to dip in with the occasional soccer pick, particularly on weekends.

Today, we’re looking back at how yesterday’s props performed before checking in on some of the latest news from NFL training camp.

Quick Bets Recap

Yesterday’s Quick Bets finished 0 for 3.

Mateusz Bogusz was held scoreless after taking two shots but failing to find the back of the net.

Carles Gil also finished without a goal despite getting two shots away.

And we didn’t hit on Jack McGlynn, who didn’t record a shot, although he did pick up an assist.

MLS goalscorer props are difficult to hit, but that doesn’t make an 0-for-3 night any easier. We’ll keep posting the results either way.

These were the picks we featured in yesterday’s newsletter, but there were plenty more available across Propsguru. Head to the website for the full slate of Quick Bets and model projections.

A preseason brawl?

The Raiders’ Maxx Crosby is known for getting under other player’s skin. Apparently, that applies even to his own teammates. While reporting is limited, it’s confirmed that Crosby was seen twice hitting QB Kirk Cousins’ arm during practice.

The second time, Cousins charged the defender, grabbing him by the jersey before teammates were finally able to separate the struggling pair.

The conflict quickly cooled, creating little in way of concern for coach Kubiak.

"Those are two leaders of our team going at it, so that is part of camp," Kubiak said. "Obviously, if you fight in a game and throw a punch in game, then you're out of the game. So we've got to be smart and treat it like a game."

Hey, if it has to happen at all, the time is now, before the season starts, right?
