The Thunder took the Spurs, 122-113 last night. SGA contributed 30 points to the winning total, while the Spurs were forced to play without the help of De’Aaron Fox. Fox, who has been averaging almost 20 points per game, was ruled out due to an ankle injury.

We’ll cover some more action below. First, let’s take a look at how yesterday’s picks went.

Last Night’s Featured bets delivered with 2 hits and 1 miss.

Alex Caruso shot 70% from the field on his way to 17 points. It was good for him. Not as good for us.

Isaiah Hartenstein came through for us, finding an incredible 13 rebounds for the Thunder.

And thanks to Cason Wallace, we went out with a winning record. He shot 67% from the field on his way to scoring 12 points.

Prop betting gets tough this time of year, no question. Teams change up their strategies. Players push themselves. Surprises abound. How have your post-season picks been going?

Single-prop angles where our model shows higher probability than the odds reflect.

Sam Merrill has been averaging 8.4 points per game during the post-season. He’s been at 10 points against New York. Merrill has been over 9 points in three of his last five games, shooting approximately 45% from the field.

His shooting is very consistent. If he can get 10+ good looks, he will have a very solid chance of meeting the over.

Dennis Schroder has been a little more subdued during the playoffs. His scoring went from 11 points per game during the regular season, to 6 in the post. He’s playing less (about eight minutes less on average) but his efficiency has also dipped below 40%.

He can clear the over. That said, we’re hoping to see his shooting hold up a little better than it has in recent showings.

Finally, Miles McBride.

McBride’s situation is similar to Schroder’s. He’s been at 7 points per game in the post-season (enough to clear the over) but he’s also been struggling a bit. He lost about six minutes per game on average in the post-season. His FG%, now sitting at 37% also dipped by 6%.

McBride attempted only one shot in his last game, and missed, for a scoreless outing. He can definitely clear the over, but has only been over 6 points twice in five games.

Today’s Parlays

Multiple edges combined into one value-driven parlay.

We’ve got a three legged parlay at +506.

SGA has been averaging 28 points per game off 49% shooting. Obviously, he’s very capable of putting up 30 point performances. That said, he’s only done so in four of his last ten games.

De’Aaron Fox, it should be noted, sat yesterday, due to an ankle injury. He’s been at nearly 20 points per game during the post-season. That said, it’s hard to predict how someone will play coming off an injury.

Finally, Alex Caruso has been averaging 11 points per game off 52% shooting during the post-season. He’s only cleared 12 points twice in his last five games. That said, with his efficiency, it only takes a handful of looks to exceed the under.
