Happy Monday! The NBA playoffs are already delivering. The Magic delivered a stunning game one upset against the top seeded Pistons. Who doesn’t love a scrappy underdog, right?
Here’s to more thrills in the weeks to come. For right now, we’ve got some more props to cover.
As always, our model has surfaced a few edges. First, let’s see how yesterday’s picks did.
Featured Bets Recap
Last Night’s Featured bets delivered with 2 hits and 1 void.

SGA had a “quiet” 25 point performance that helped us realize our under. Jerami Grant, on the other hand, failed to claim even a single rebound in 19 minutes of playtime.
Shaedon Sharpe was also shy around the boards. We needed 3 rebounds from the guard. He managed only 1 in twenty two minutes of play time.
Going one of three isn’t our favorite way to start the week. That’s playoff basketball for you, though. How did your picks do?
Today’s Featured Bets
Single-prop angles where our model shows higher probability than the odds reflect.

Dennis Schroder is a bit of a role player. He’s been known to pull 20 point performances when they are needed. Other nights, he contributes modestly for fifteen minutes and produces the kind of numbers you’d expect from limited utilization.
As a 40% scorer, coming up with 5 points won’t require many looks. He’s managed at least 5 points for all of April.
Keon Ellis is a similar story. He averages 7 points per game through 44% shooting and should have an easy time arriving at 5 points as long as he is getting minutes.
Finally, Max Strus at 4 or more rebounds. He averages 5 per game and does not often dip below 4.
Props are always unpredictable but these picks are at least promising.
Today’s Parlays
Multiple edges combined into one value-driven parlay.

We’ve got a three legged parlay at +598.
Asking 5 rebounds of a guard can admittedly be a bit of a stretch. Max Strus is up to the task. He averages 5.4 for the season, and was consistently collecting 5-6 per game in March.
Keon Ellis has been averaging nearly 7 points per game. The figure is misleading. When he gets minutes—and enough looks—he routinely threatens 20. Managing 5 should be a cake walk, but it depends on what role he will play in the Cavaliers post-season strategy.
Finally, Sam Merrill. His position is similar to Keon Ellis’s. Merrill can easily find his way to double digit scoring. He just needs enough looks. He’s averaged 13 points per game off of 46% shooting for the season. He’s been a bit hit and miss lately, but can still make good use of volume shooting.
