Happy Saturday, and welcome to all the new faces. If you’ve recently subscribed through our website, shoot us a reply and let us know what you’d like to see from the platform and this newsletter. We’re building both around what’s most useful to you.
The Panthers played the Cardinals in the Hall of Fame Game, with Carson Beck showing out for Arizona in a match that eventually saw the Panthers pull ahead.
Preseason games are notoriously….eh. Teams are still finding their identity. The lineup may vary significantly from regular season norms. And the play itself often feels a little half hearted. After all, who is going to risk a season ending injury for the Hall of Fame game?
Still, as exhibition matches go, this one had some excitement to spare.
The NFL will continue to be the main focus of the newsletter as we move toward the regular season. For today, though, we’ve got a few interesting MLS picks to share. Read on for a look at some Major League Soccer props.
Today’s Featured Bets
These are single-prop angles where our model shows higher probability than the odds reflect.

We’ve got three scoring lines today.
First, Mateusz Bogusz. Bogusz has four goals in fifteen starts this season and averages nearly three shots per game. The volume is there, so his chances of getting on the scoresheet will depend largely on the quality of the looks he gets.
We’ve also got a scoring line on Carles Gil. Gil averages 0.41 goals per game, having found the back of the net 7 times this season so far. He takes just over one shot per game, representing a reasonable level of efficiency from a player best known for creation.
Again, good looks will help get him where he needs to be for this line.
Finally, Jack McGlynn. McGlynn has averaged just 0.15 goals per game this year and takes a little over one shot per game. He isn’t a primary scoring option, but the model sees more scoring probability here than his season total might suggest.
The model sees +EV on all three, but that doesn’t mean we expect all three to score. Who do you think has the best chance of finding the net today? Shoot us a reply and let us know.
Today’s Parlays
Multiple edges combined into one value-driven parlay.

We’ve got a two legged parlay with +1171 combined odds.
Guilherme Augusto- To score over 0.5
Aliyu Ibrahim- To score over 0.5
Augusto has scored seven goals this season from 46 shots. Aliyu Ibrahim, meanwhile, has had a much quieter season, scoring once from six shots.
The complication with this parlay isn’t necessarily either individual line, but the likelihood of both hitting in the same game. Isn’t that always the way?
Augusto is certainly the stronger scoring candidate, though Ibrahim is capable under the right circumstances.
