And just like that, the NBA is back! Welcome to Props Daily.
After months of waiting, we finally have regular-season basketball again. The Celtics visit the Pistons, the Knicks host the 76ers at Madison Square Garden, and we finish the night with the Thunder taking on Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs.
But before we get to basketball, we have some unfinished business from Monday Night Football.
The Niners are now 6-0 and one of only three undefeated teams left in the NFL.
Mike Evans was giving Washington all sorts of problems in the first half before an ankle injury forced him out. The Commanders simply had no answer for him, and you could see the difference after the break as the offense struggled to find the same rhythm without him.
San Francisco are looking really good, but seriously, how many more injuries can this team take?
And then there’s Washington.
Oh, the Commanders.
Down six with just over two minutes left, they needed one touchdown to take the lead. They had a chance, only for Malik Mustapha to stop the run on third down and then break up a fourth-down pass to Treylon Burks.
And when they got the ball back with one final shot at a Hail Mary? Jayden Daniels got sacked.
You couldn’t write a better summary of their 1-4-1 season.
Anyway, enough of Washington’s misery. Let’s see how our picks did last night.
Featured Bets Recap
We went 1–1 on last night’s Featured Bets.

Jayden Daniels over 30.5 passing attempts was our winner.
Washington spent much of the night trying to keep up with San Francisco, and Daniels finished with 40 attempts, completing 29 passes for 300 yards and two touchdowns. He cleared our line comfortably, even if the Commanders couldn’t get the result they wanted.
Brock Purdy over 30.5 attempts was the one that got away. He finished with 29 attempts, completing 21 passes for 264 yards and a touchdown.
He came up just two attempts short of clearing our line. A frustrating miss, especially with how well things were looking early in the game.
A 1-1 night to close out Week 6. Now we’ve got the NBA back, and plenty of new opportunities ahead.
We’ve made some significant upgrades to our NBA prediction models ahead of the new season, particularly around projecting player minutes and accounting for changes in player roles.
We’re currently moving these updates into production, so tonight’s NBA predictions will be available a little later than usual.
Everything should be updated approximately an hour before tip-off for each game. You’ll be able to find the latest predictions and props on the individual game page on Propsguru.
We’re excited to see how the improvements perform as the season gets underway.
NBA and NFL, We’ve Got It All.
It’s that time of the year when we can truly have it all, with both the NBA and NFL running at the same time.
That means more games, more props, and plenty more opportunities to dig into the numbers.
We’ll be making some changes to the newsletter format over the coming days to help us cover both leagues, share more of our picks, and keep you updated on the results.
In the meantime, you can see which props are gaining attention on Trending Props and where the lines are shifting on the Boosts page.
Join the conversation on Discord to share slips, compare reads, and talk through the upcoming slate with the Propsguru community.
We’ll be back tomorrow.
