There was a lot of action around the NBA yesterday.

Jayson Tatum dropped 36 points as Boston beat the Knicks 107-103, leaving New York 0-2 to start the season.

In San Antonio, Kevin Durant and the Rockets escaped with a four-point win over the Spurs. Alperen Sengun scored 29, while Amen Thompson came up with a huge block on Wembanyama in the closing seconds.

The Lakers won the battle of LA, beating the Clippers 125-117 behind 28 points from Austin Reaves.

Atlanta absolutely destroyed Charlotte 128-81, recording the biggest win in Hawks franchise history.

And Memphis pulled off a 17-0 fourth-quarter run to steal a 111-108 win against Golden State.

It was also a great night for us at Propsguru.

11 of our 13 NBA player prop picks hit yesterday, including all three Featured Bets.

Let’s take a look at how the model performed.

Things played out pretty much how we’d hoped.

Sion James had another difficult night against Atlanta, scoring just 3 points on 1-of-7 shooting. That’s now two straight games with just 3 points, and he’s shooting 14.3% from the field to start the season. Our under 7.5 was never really in trouble.

Kevin Durant scored 20 points against San Antonio, even as Houston picked up the win. He was coming off a 30-point performance against Dallas, but we liked the matchup with Wemby and the Spurs to keep his scoring down. That worked out nicely.

LaMelo Ball finished with 12 points against Orlando, shooting just 30.8% from the field. Minnesota won comfortably by 22, and with plenty of scoring options around him, LaMelo only played 23 minutes.

A great night for our Featured Bets.

These are single-prop angles where our model shows higher probability than the odds reflect.

We’re back with three more NBA picks for Saturday, and we’re sticking with the unders.

First, we have Tyler Herro under 21.5 points against Philadelphia.

Herro has started the season strong, averaging 28 points after two games. He dropped 34 against Chicago yesterday, shooting 50% from the field.

But Philadelphia has won both of their opening games, and the Bucks are playing their second game in two nights. We’re expecting a tougher night for Herro against the Sixers.

Next, we have Moussa Diabaté under 9.5 points against Miami.

Charlotte had a terrible night against Atlanta yesterday, losing 128-81. Diabaté scored just 5 points in 21 minutes, attempting only two shots despite making both.

He’s averaging 11 points after two games, but scoring isn’t his main role on this Hornets team. Against Miami tonight, we’re backing him to stay below 10.

Finally, we have Julius Randle under 20.5 points against Cleveland.

Randle had an excellent season opener against Charlotte, scoring 33 points on 61.1% shooting. But Cleveland presents a different challenge, especially with their size around the basket.

After such an efficient opening performance, we’re expecting Randle to have a harder time scoring tonight.

Three more unders for Saturday. Let’s see if we can follow up yesterday’s 3-0 sweep with another good night.

That’s It for Today
